Activities designed to gently flex the mind and the body are organised regularly throughout the week. Singalongs, Movement to Music and Bingo are examples of such activities. Residents look forward to these very popular sessions which are run by our activities organiser.
A varied programme of Professional Entertainment also takes place once a month.

With almost fifty Residents, there is on average at least one a Birthday celebrated every week at The Grange! And we find plenty of other reasons to celebrate together, such as Wedding Anniversaries and family events.

On the first Thursday of every month, we have Songs of Praise at The Grange, attended by the local Vicar. Escort services are available on Sundays for those who wish to attend Church.
The local pub (The Anchor) is just 150 yards from The Grange, along a wheel-chair-friendly path. The lovely gardens and good pub food make it a popular place for family and friends to meet up and catch up.
The Post Office and the local Supermarket are also within easy level walking distance from The Grange, and some of the residents are able to enjoy these village amenities when accompanied.
The two separate lounges are communal areas ideal for chatting, resting, reading, and generally enjoying the company of others. Puzzles, jigsaws, board games and craft hobbies are all readily available and encouraged during the day.

The mobile library comes round in the mornings on a regular basis, and also has a good stock of large-print books.
We have a delightful patio area which is an ideal place to sit and relax on a warm sunny day.
